1. Analysis of placing a container in the Info Point area

AMURTEL: Regarding the analysis of placing a heated container in the area of ​​the Info Point, intended for the waiting time of refugees, the management of the Advanced Operative Point mentioned the fact that there are tents equipped with heating systems used for these situations, which currently it is considered the optimal solution.

2. Free therapeutic stories for war-affected Ukrainian children

AMURTEL has created a free collection of therapeutic stories designed to strengthen the resilience of war-affected Ukrainian children and offer messages of hope for a brighter future.

The stories can be downloaded from the website in pdf files, in English, Ukrainian or Russian. Also, printed books can be ordered, bearing in mind that the number is limited. Orders can be placed on the website until December 12:

3. Event organized for Ukrainian children

On Monday, December 19,  Bucovina Institute organizes a celebration for Ukrainian children with a Christmas theme, where the children will receive gifts from the organization.

 

4. Online Romanian and English language courses for adults

Starting on Monday, December 5, Bucovina Institute launched an online program of Romanian and English language courses for adults. People interested in participating in this program can contact the CUS Bucovina Institute or Alina Zăgan for registration.

 

5. Event organized by CNRR

On Friday, December 16, CNRR will organize an event to which the organizations from the Suceava area will be invited, which will collaborate in response to the refugee crisis, and aims at the theme of the advocacy plan for next year. Invitations for this event will be sent by email.

 

6. The medical services of Siret Border Crossing

The medical staff providing the medical services from MdM Greece at Siret Border Crossing expresses his concern that after December 31, there is still no certainty that the organization can support the medical aid service. The refugee’s requests to the medical office are 20-50 per day, which shows the need to maintain this aid service available to refugees.
