In particular, these activities aim to provide support and counselling on the problems refugees face. Star of Hope has decided to organise activities for men as well, as they are also in a difficult situation and there are no counselling and support programmes dedicated to them.
This programme is run with the support of a team of specialists, who provide psychological counselling, assistance in accessing social and medical services and legal advice. Support groups are an important means of providing emotional support and encouraging social interaction between refugees.
The activities carried out by Star of Hope have an important impact on the refugee community in Suceava and provide the necessary support for them to successfully integrate into Romanian society.
