Rădăuțiul Civic is offering an important opportunity for refugees in Rădăuți camp to receive hot meals for free, one month. This initiative can help improve nutrition and general health among refugees, as well as promote the values of solidarity and mutual support in difficult times.
The initiative comes in a context where refugees often face difficulties in food needs, especially in the first months after arriving in a new place. ACF has decided to sponsor the programme through its partners, Rădăuțiul Civic, to help provide food for refugees in the area.
2. Star of Hope provides integration and therapy in partnership with Filadelfia School in the context of the 50/20 program change
Siret Customs continues to be a busy crossing point, with an average of 1500-1700 people crossing daily, according to recent data, and the number of NGOs providing aid to refugees at this border is getting smaller. Following the change in the 50/20 programme, the Star of Hope Foundation is helping Ukrainian refugees integrate into society and access education and therapy.
Those in need can receive housing, hot meals, clothing, educational activities and therapy for delayed and disabled children in partnership with the Filadelfia School.
This programme is funded by partners of Star of Hope, CARE, SERA, FONPC, and is especially for Ukrainian refugees who need support to adapt to their new life in Romania. By providing education and therapy, Star of Hope aims to help refugees improve their skills and successfully integrate into Romanian society.
3. Refugee camp in Rădăuți struggles with basic needs: call for sponsors and donors
The refugee camp in Rădăuți is facing a difficult situation and is in urgent need of hygiene products such as soap, shampoos and disinfectants. According to our source, the refugees are staying in the camp in Rădăuți for four months, during which time they have to find a place to live and a job. Under these conditions, the situation in the camp is difficult and the refugees need support to achieve these goals.
In an attempt to improve the situation in the camp, it is proposed that a cleaning company clean the camp. Sponsors and donors are also being sought to provide hygiene products and other urgent needs of the refugees.
