Tibi, Star of Hope: Regarding the subject of utility bills, namely electricity, Ionuț Ursu, Volunteers for Life, was contacted, who mentioned the fact that, for now, the electricity bill is not divided among organizations and that a system is to be implemented measuring individual consumption, for each organization.

 

Topics discussed today

1. Training for specialists and volunteers

Erin, Good Neighbors UK: in the next period, training sessions on children’s mental health are being organized in Suceava, with the theme “Working with Children”. The sessions open for registration are:

October 27 – 28, only in English

November 8 – 9, in Romanian and English.

2. Programs for registering refugee children in kindergartens

Alina, Bucovina InstituteFollowing the Organization’s presence at the Job Fair on October 14, refugees showed their interest in enrolling their children in kindergartens through the program supported by the Bucovina Institute, with the aim of getting a job. The organization offers three program options for enrolling children in kindergarten, depending on their parents’ preferences.

In the following days, potential employers will be invited to the organization’s headquarters, offering different types of jobs, with the aim of facilitating the access of refugees to finding and getting a job.

Another piece of information of local interest is that free public transport is suspended in Suceava Municipality.
