Mercy Corps has a new request for applications for civil society partners. Please feel free to share this request for applications with your peer organizations in Romania, as Mercy Corps would like to reach many diverse partners through this request. At this phase, they are only asking for a short email, including the following minimum information:
- Organization’s name and point of contact
- Short description (in bullets) of prior activities of the organization in response to the Ukraine crisis
- Short description (in bullets) of the need/activities that this small grant will support
- Target group(s) and estimated number of beneficiaries (if applicable)
- Location of planned activities
- Estimated start and end date
- Estimated budget requested
Once Mercy Corps have received a minimum number of email expressions of interest, they will create a first shortlist and ask shortlisted organizations to fill out a more detailed application, in which they can finalize their scope, budget, duration and all of the rest of the details. This call is only applicable to Romanian organizations. If you have a Ukrainian partner interested in applying, please do share their contact with Mercy Corps and they will forward it to their team focusing on Ukrainian organizations.
